Rangers ask parties not to shelter terrorists

KARACHI – Karachi operation would continue till the elimination of the criminal elements.
This was stated by the Director General of Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Maj Gen Bilal Akbar, on Sunday.

He was talking to a delegation of the All Pakistan Security Services Association, led by Brig (retd) Rasheed Malik, called on the Director General of Rangers Sindh here.

Maj Gen Bilal Akbar briefed the delegation regarding the law and order situation in the metropolis and the ongoing operation in Karachi.

He asked the security companies to share information with the Rangers Sindh.

Maj Gen Bilal made it very clear that Karachi operation was not against any party or group and that its very purpose was to curb criminal elements.
He asked the political and religious parties not to give place to criminals or terrorists in their ranks.
The Rangers Sindh chief said that the ongoing operation would continue till the elimination of terrorists.
He also lauded the role of security companies operating in Karachi.
In spite of difficult situation they were committed to protect life and property of the people in the metropolis.

Brig (retd) Rasheed Malik and members of the delegation appreciated steps taken by the Rangers for restoring law and order in the city.
They also expressed the hope that the Rangers’ operation would continue with the same intensity.
