Reserves fall to $20.78bn

KARACHI: The country’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves stood at $20.780 billion during the week ending April 15 compared to $20.835bn the previous week, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.

The SBP reserves fell $14 million to $16.027bn from $16.041bn, and the other banks’ holdings were $4.753bn as compared to $4.794bn. During the week, the SBP received $223.6m from the United States under Coalition Support Fund. While, it made payments of $178m on account of external debt servicing and other official payments.
