Sarwar launches campaign for Kashmiris LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s central leader and former Punjab governor Chaudhry Sarwar has announced launching a campaign in Britain and European countries for the right of self-determination to Kashmiris.
Speaking at a news conference at the Lahore Press Club along with PTI information secretary Samsam Bukhari on Saturday, he said he would begin his tour from Sunday (today) and expose the Indian forces’ aggression and terrorism in the held Kashmir.
He said the voices coming from British and European parliament would exert pressure on India. He said India could no more suppress Kashmiris with the power of bullets.
Mr Sarwar said he was in close contact with all members of the European Union parliamentarians, including Sajjad Kareem, Afzal Khan and Khalid Mehmood, over recent developments in Kashmir.
He said that his son Anas Sarwar had also raised Kashmir issue in Scottish parliament and presented a resolution condemning Indian aggression in Kashmir.
Mr Sarwar chided the federal government for not appointing a foreign minister and the government’s own foreign policy had failed.
